Question My Icon cannot detect the frame.  How can I reset the IP address on my old System 6000/ DB8/DB4 Frame Answer The only way to reset the IP address is to use a floppy Disk. If you have no way to copy a file from a PC to a floppy disk, please contact us and we will send you a pre-loaded floppy If you still have the possibility to copy a file from PC to floppy, please follow the procedure below:
  • Copy the attached CTL file at the root of a freshly formatted Floppy Disk
  • Insert the Floppy disk in the floppy Drive of your Mainframe, and power ON
  • After about 15 seconds, the IP address will be reset to with subnet mask
You just need to set on your Icon to access the frame, and possibly re-change the address to your local needs.  Note: You can also directly modify the IP adress in the CTL file using a notepad editor on your PC.  Note: On a System 6000 and DB's MKII, there is a reset button on the front panel beside the LED.
