When sending MIDI notes to your analogue synth via an external device, you may experience a behaviour that appears to make the DECAY dial ineffective, or you may experience different behaviour from your envelope. This is not a defect, and likely to be due to the velocity settings in your MIDI data. If the velocity is set too high, this will create and accented note, which causes the envelope to behave differently, quote often disabling the decay setting. To ensure this isn’t happening, you will need to decrease the Accent Velocity Threshold of your synth (if applicable). This is done through the SynthTool.

If you are using a synth with no adjustable velocity threshold, you will need to reduce the velocity value of the MIDI data you are sending.
