The MD3 dynamics of the System 6000 and the Finalizer 96K are a bit different from each other. The main differences are as follows:
- The Finalizer 96K can do sample rate conversion, while the System 6000 can't.
- On the other hand, the DSP performance of the MD3 is better, meaning that it runs at 48-bit processing all the way, whereas the Finalizer 96K only runs at 48 bits at critical stages.
Due to this, and converters in an extremely high quality, the MD3 in the System 6000 performs and sounds better than the Finalizer 96K.
