Question There's a gap in the sound when switching between presets on the G-Major 2 - what's going on
Preset changes in G-Major 2 have been optimized for almost instantaneous switching. There are however certain effects (the Phaser and Univibe in particular) that require more from the processor than others. When switching to a preset with one of these effects the preset change will take a little longer than usual. The routing inside G-Major 2 ensures that the unprocessed part of the sound is sent through right away even though it might take a little longer for the effect to kick in. This means you won't get those nasty gaps of silence known from many other effects processors out there. We are working on improving the preset speed even further for effects with the Phaser or Univibe included.
